The Challenge

The Connaught hotel’s facelift included a new winter terrace and 95 revamped bathrooms, all of which required quality, unobtrusive heating as there was very limited wall space.

The Solution

Warmup’s StickyMat system was installed in the irregular shaped bathrooms to ensure consistent heating was provided around the fixed furniture with no cold spots. The heating mat were installed over Warmup’s 100mm insulation boards which guaranteed a rapid heat up time without compromising floor build-up. The underfloor heating systems were linked to a Building Management System which would activate upon guest check-in, welcoming them to a warmup floor and a comfortable environment.

The Result

With clear walls, there was plenty of room for optimal design and layout. The simple methods of installing the products also meant that the client could keep to schedule whilst maintaining the high-end luxury of the hotel with warm bathrooms and a cosy new winter terrace.
